Xv has color glitches with radeon driver

I think there are specific color combinations/patterns that trigger 
this.  In case this might help in figuring out the cause, here another 
screen:

Note how the three glitches (two at top, one at bottom) are perfectly 
aligned with where the red color starts and the yellow ends.
