xserver does not work,help!

It would help get more anwsers if you posted to the list also and not just
me ;)

Has for the X not starting, did you tried doing "make uninstall" in the
pixman folder and restart the X ? If you delete references to the original
pixman, I suggest you reinstall whatever package might containt pixman on
you system if a package manager exists.
