Hello: 

I am following instructions at http://wiki.x.org... My PC went into a fatal server error. It said it had failed to submit batchbuffer: input/output error. I sought to consult with the X.org Foundation support relative to log file var/log/Xorg.0.log. 


I could not solve this with the following entry to terminal 

sudo dpkg-reconfigure-phigh xserver-xorg

any help will be most appreciated.
