Are there any program in X can emulate MS's window.h and dos.h?

dear X.org programers:

  I got a book "TY Game Programming in 24 hours".  It is written by c++ which I love it.  But it use Microsoft window's graphic file.
So, do any one know there is some way in X to emulate these window.h and dos.h files?

looking to see any advancer's hlep/advice, and thax in advance, Eric
