Sorry, but this is not an option. I would like to set
several ModulePaths in seperate config files. The default
module path should be kept as the last resort.

I can understand that you might be concerned about
making such a complex change, but what would be the
xorg.conf.d directory good for, if not for supporting
a modular configuration style?
