Current KDE 4 versions (4.7 - ) should support randr fine and for recent (4.10) ones, zaphod has a pending issue on kglobalaccel (the global shortcut manager) - whether that would also apply to xinerama i'm frankly not sure about, but "inaccessible" i'd have to see.
