I'm running latest Xorg build on GNU/Linux Debian -- which includes
the latest Intel driver, as shown by: lspci -k
...
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core
Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 1658
Kernel driver in use: i915
...

System also has kernel 3.14.0 build: runs smooth; that is, it does not
freeze nor exhibits abnormal behaviour.
