X11R7.7 download error from Mirror site using FTP

You would need to contact the owner of the mirror site - we have no control
over them - or try another mirror site, or our primary site at
https://www.x.org/releases/

We also cannot recommend anyone downloading and using the now decade old
X11R7.7 release today.  It has many bugs & security vulnerabilities that
have been fixed in later releases.  We instead recommend downloading the
latest stable releases from the https://www.x.org/releases/individual/
directory and using those.
