Minimize window does not work on macOS 15.4

System:
XQuartz 2.8.5 (xorg-server 21.1.6)
macOS Sequoia 15.4 on Apple M1 Max

Problem:
xterm Window minimization does not work after upgrading to macOS 15.4.  None of clicking on the orange button on the xterm chrome, hitting command-M, or clicking on Menubar->Window->Minimize menu item have any effect.  Hitting command-M blinks the menubar item, but does not do anything else.

In contrast, command-W does continue to work to close the window.  Command-M to minimize works in all other apps.

In the X11 Preferences, the following boxes are checked:
Input:Emulate 3-button mouse
Input:Follow system keyboard layout
Input:Enable key equivalents under X11
Windows:Focus follows mouse
