[cairo] cairo-1.0.2 and cairo_public?

Looking at the ChangeLog it seems as if the ability to export
via cairo_public should have been in the 1.0.2 release.
But looking at the tarball or the RELEASE_1_0_2 tag reveals
something different. What's going wrong?
