I think thats a very bad idea. A logo is important for a the project
identity, you can't change it every n weeks. We can make release images
for every release but not change our logo.  
For the images submitted after the deadline we should accept them
tacitly.
Who decides? Everyone on the list and every who contributed to the
gallery.

My favorite is Andreas Nilssons logo. It is not to complex, will work in
b/w and you can use it as icon without the text. The only thing is, we
must change the text from project to library.
I even like the images from Andrew Fitzsimon, but they are to complex as
logo.
