Yeah, I'm mostly interested in SVG fonts for obvious reasons. ;-)

In theory, yes, the DMS is designed to be fairly general purpose to
handle a variety of file formats. It's unfortunately a ways from being
ready to use though.

That'd be cool. I actually started thinking about the design for DMS
years ago as part of a game project, where we wanted a system that could
deliver media content to game players "on the fly", so that sound,
animation, etc. could be collaboratively designed (i.e., draw your own
character, write your own theme music, etc.) So some of the underlying
ideas ought to have some broad usefulness...

Agreed, but you're also spot on that we need to focus. For me the card
effort is a tangible 'scratch to itch' for myself.
Like you say, though, as we go we probably ought to think about
expanding the scope little by little. Fonts sound like a good next step
for us to grow into this year.
