Let me have another look at them... Umm, call me blind, but I don't
see any visual iconic buttons for those on your mockup, just text links
in a large font. If those were supposed to be placeholders for visual
iconic buttons, then that seems like a reasonable approach to me; I
just didn't realize that was what they were. Perhaps I will look into
revising my mockup again to include something along those lines...

Aesthetically, I think that unballances the symetry of the banner, although
perhaps it could be made to look good if done well. I'm wondering if maybe we
could fit one affiliate in the main page area of just the front page... I will
think some more about how that area can be arranged better. We don't want a
complex layout in there, but perhaps something more than just text is in order.
