2. the upload form detect the file type, but only after the "send file" button
is pressed (this is needed to process the metadata according with the type -
write inside the svg, create an additional metadata.rdf, put the metadata file
inside archive)

3. we really need step 4? it only add to the visual bloat and don't think anyone
used it so far
