I triage well.  The first round consisted entirely of easy changes.

That would work too, but what I meant was that if you post the client-side
scripts into this bug, I can easily roll them in with the other changes.

Having thought about this some more, I think I agree, provided it's a 
temporary stand-in measure and that we eventually want to move to using 
a single session or login cookie.

Then again, I guess what you're proposing makes the length of an input
field, in characters, depend on those things.  Which is probably okay.
We'll want to test with various setups, but I guess it should work out.
