Right, I remember we had a big discussion about how we weren't going to
call it OCAL, but it is kind of impossible. If you all are okay with
then I will change. Part of this paper is conjecture on some things and
trying to set precedents on some parts, like Library. But I think it
will be easier to refer to as OCAL.

I should say reward with thanks and kindness...

Yes...

good

good

ok...that sounds like a good idea.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to re-tailor it to many different
audiences. I have struggled with a clear vision on this. For one, it
will go to svgopen.org. For two, it will go to desktopcon. For three I
will try to get it published somewhere...

Yeah, I know this needs to be done majorly. I am going to gut it in the
a.m. and cut it down majorly. I haven't been writing for like 8-9 months
so this is my first foray back into that...sooooo... Its also different
for me because its not totally research paper, nor total informal
narrative, so I've kind of wandered a bit off target in the focus for
the audience. Also, I feel a bit lost on what people know and don't know
about various parts of the writing (like Google Summer of Code). I think
I need to get out more ;)

Yes, this helps majorly! Any and all criticism is appreciated...
