Yes, what software, as we know there are many WMF collections and need a 
good tool to do batch conversions to SVG.

Yes, you should check with the site owner first on their contradiction.

We have some tools that will help you in adding metadata to each file. 
Others can probably speak to this better, but for such a large package our 
upload tool can handle it with the proper formatting of the files.

Man, this makes me realize how we need to have our procedures documented 
better for more than just invidivual packages...

Well, hopefully we can sort that out while you email the author. I think 
you have to try first before taking the step of submitting the clip art.

However, if these images are public domain elsewhere and this person 
collected them, then we can use them. However, that first place they were 
taken from should be known (and probably embedded into the document).

Please don't let any of this seem daunting. Collecting this many images is 
a great thing.

My personal goal is to get some time to write a spider to collect 
vector-based public domain clip art in mega-bulk and auto-submit it. There 
is so much out there!
