What you have done already is immensely helpful.  If most of those
pass the validation stage now, this will make 0.12 an extremely
worthwhile release, to say nothing of whatever encouragement it may
provide to those who originally submitted those files.

Also, your advice on the character set issues has been valuable;
that's another thing that will not likely be done for 0.12, but I
believe I now know, *approximately*, what I have to do; whereas,
before I was just aware that there was a problem.
