There are a few people in charge with account creation and they usually 
are very busy, so it happens for the request to not be noticed in due 
time. One of them is Daniel Stone (dstone).
It may be needed to bug them on IRC: #freedesktop channel on FreeNode.

There, as a beginner, you did a mistake: forgot to mention in the 
initial message the project name and approval form one of the project 
owners (Rejon or Bryce), in order to legitimize the request.

I don't see another way to speed up things than looking for dstone on IRC.
