Hi Paul, please check out latest site, http://openclipart.org/cchost
There is an api for getting clip art called the sample pool API:
http://wiki.creativecommons.org/cchost that is part of our engine
cchost. Also, we have rss and atom feeds coming out of the app so you
can use those...we are getting close to moving our site over to cchost.
