[Clipart] Where can I share my portraits?

Deviantart might be a good place to look.

They use the CC licenses which you can read about here.
You can also upload without selecting a CC license, but I'm not sure if you can declare an upload as public domain.

Not exactly public domain, but there are some pretty non-restrictive licenses to choose from.

I'm drawing lots of portraits with oil pastels, for example:

How and where might I share them in the Public Domain, copyright-free?  
  I understand that Open Clipart only accepts SVG drawings.

I think they could be used for cartoons, collages and other projects.   
I would like to draw "packages" of people from history, current  
events, expressing various emotions, poses, especially, if there was  
interest and support.
