Hi,

Do you ever get timeout errors? If the send_with_reply_and_block() are
all timing out on the client side, the bus would still be waiting for
the reply on the server side until whatever the bus timeout is.

I don't see offhand how your program could cause the problem, since it
should block each time until the reply comes back. Maybe try enabling
verbose output from dbus.
