Shouldn't the device manager also show info about the monitor,keyboard and mouse?

Shouldn't the device manager also show info about the monitor, keyboard
and mouse? Or doesn't hald support these device 'yet' or 'will never
support them'? Or is the problem that the kernel can't give a lot of
info about those devices?
