hi guys:

Recently I begin to work on qt immoule for IIIM, my qt-immodule for IIIM
does not work(lauch kedit, mouse right click, click menu item of "Select
Input method", there is no sub-menu item of "iiimqcf").

To find the reason above, I build imsw-multi but imsw-multi also does
not work. My steps as below:

Envirorment: Fedora core 3

1. rpm -ivh qt-3.3.3-8.src.rpm
2. cd /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
3. tar xvf qt-x11-free-3.3.3.tar
4. cd /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/qt-x11-free-3.3.3
5. patch -p0 < qt-x11-immodule-unified-qt3.3.3-20040910.diff
6. ./make-symlinks.sh
7. ./configure -inputmethod

8. mv /usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so
/usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so.bak
(/usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so is installed
default after I install Fedora Core 3)

9. cp
/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/qt-x11-free-3.3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so
/usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so
11. kedit &
However, then right-click mouse, there is no menu item of "Select Input
Method", so I can not select and switch input method.

10. mv /usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so.bak
/usr/lib/qt-3.3/plugins/inputmethods/libqimsw-multi.so
Then launch kedit, there is menu item of "Select Input Method", I can
input correctly.

I'm so confused. I'm a new guy for qt-immodule, can you please help me
to figure it out?

Thanks a lot/a lot/a lot/a lot in advance!!!!!!!!

Best regards,
Gavin
