[immodule-qt] preedit problem with kbabel

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with IM preedit not working with
kbabel for recent qt with qt-x11-immodule-unified patch: see for example
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=183302 (and also
http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19533).

To summarize qtimm preedit works fine with kbabel (kdesdk-3.5.1) for
qt-3.3.4 with qt-x11-immodule-unified-qt3.3.4-20041203 [Fedora Core 4],
but not for qt-3.3.5 with qt-x11-immodule-unified-qt3.3.5-20051018 
(and earlier patches) [Fedora Core 5], nor qt-3.3.6 with
qt-x11-immodule-unified-qt3.3.5-20060318 [Fedora Core devel].
Also qt-3.3.3 with qt-x11-immodule-unified-qt3.3.3-20040910 seems
to be fine fwiw, so it seems this problem was introduced after 3.3.4.

Any comments or ideas on this problem?
