[Mesa-dev] glxgears performance higher with software renderer compared to h/w drivers

Just in case someone else faces the same issue. Resolved the issue and
was able to build the gallium softpipe renderer with llvm.

I was able to build the driver with llvm but I had to modify the
configure.ac (in mesa 8.0.5) to avoid specific dependence on llvm-2.9.
My system had llvm-3.0 and autoconf was detecting as llvm absent.
