Built on Gentoo with gcc 3.4.3. Test machine is a dual P3 700 with 0.5G of
RAM. Numbers refer to footnotes. All tests performed at 16bpp.
Basic tests: VT switch, resolution switch, KDE 3.3.

1 - Garbled text console on VT switch.
2 - Switch from server to VT is shifted by one character cell. VT-VT switch
and VT-server switch are fine.
DRI tests: DRM load, DRI server setup, glxgears, glmatrix. Rage Fury Maxx was
omitted as not yet supported. Indirect rendering worked on all cards.

ATI FireGL 8800 r200 PASS PASS PASS PASS

1 - Locked up once in MMIO mode, otherwise stable.
2 - drm driver initialized both r128 chips, and server saw them, but...
3 - locked up after a few seconds of glxgears, or on startup, or just
whenever. This particular r128 is still not formally supported by DRI so
this is not a regression as such.
4 - drm loaded but did not detect the device. Not a regression, my
particular savage3d's PCI ID isn't in the DRM's list yet.
5 - tdfx failed to work due to a broken glide3 package, not Xorg's fault.
Render tests: rendercheck with RenderAccel enabled. All cards without Render
acceleration passed rendercheck.

ATI FireGL 8800 FAIL

There's a chance that this is a compiler bug, film at 11.
Further tests as my time allows, overall it looks solid.
