RFC: What to do with the stale/buggy Xft/Xrender in the tree.

Ok, if we're going to update the Xft/Xrender libraries, I'd like to get an
option included to *not* install them so that people using upstream
versions don't accidentally lose big if they make/install X.
The default value for whether to install them should probably be 'false'
for most Linux distros which have already split out these libraries from
their X bits.
