What are these images supposed to look like? At least here there
appears to be a closeup of the ancient X logo plus a strange blue
spike.
The closeup seems far too close to make out that it's an X unless
you're very familiar with the X logo, so it mostly looks like
some strange triangle abstract art.
My personal taste leans more towards the logo Keith put in (the
X in a brown box, though I'm not sure about the freedesktop.org logo
in there - it's nice to give credit for all the support given,
but I'm not sure if putting it directly in the logo is the best
way to do so). I've attached gifs of both, though I think the
conversion from XPM resulted in some dithering for some reason,
so they're not quite as the appear in the originals.
(Speaking of logos, can someone fix the X.org home page so that
the X.org Foundation logo on it gets displayed at it's actual
size instead of badly scaled to a different aspect ratio so it
looks horrible? If you click view image on it to view at it's
native size, it looks so much better.)
