[SCIM] Newbie question: scim::FrontEnd: X11 -- failed to connect to the panel daemon!

[Amish Rughoonundon (RIT Student)]

It seems this program did not get installed when i installed scim. I found it in the extras folder of the scim installer. Is there anything special that needs to be done to install this. Thanks

	Hi,
	  Please try to run /usr/lib/scim-1.0/scim-panel-gtk directly to see if it's ok.
