[SCIM] Newbie question: scim::FrontEnd: X11 -- failed to connect to the panel daemon!

You're right. It is not installed. So I have to install this package and then reinstall scim. Is that right?? Thanks

	  I think you did not install gtk2-devel package before compiling scim,
	is it right?
