Hi,
Could you check environment variable LANG or GTK_IM_MODULE?
$ echo $LANG $GTK_IM_MODULE
You may set GTK_IM_MODULE=uim-anthy or GTK_IM_MODULE=uim-canna to
force these engine from mozilla-firefox.
