maybe a stupid question:

last time i tried uim-xim (around 4.3),
it only worked if i used a japanese locale.

but i am using en_US.UTF-8,
so i'd like uim-xim to work with all the locales....

are there any plans to 'fix' this, or maybe is it already fixed?
