OK.  I've done some fixes for Japanese IM today.

BTW, I noticed something is not compatible between 1.3.1 and
1.4.0-beta.  With latin IM, I got "Error: in string-append: string
required but got: #<undef>" message with "Multi_key" key press.  I'll
investigate this problem tomorrow.  It would be helpful if you could
have any insight about the error message.
