[Uim] does uim-fep works for debian 7

hi,

   I am debian hurd porter, and try to make uim-fep to work in debian hurd,
it's not work.

   And then I first try to check weather it work in debian,  it's not too.

   it's  lack of document, so where i can find the user document like
manual.
