Personally, I find that very un-obvious: using up/down keys for going left/right in tabs???
It's certainly an "unused for other things" shortcut, but then again, so is jumping on one foot :-)

But that's just my 2 cents, Stephan Binner is the one who went through the various
iterations of finding shortcuts for konqueror's tab navigation...
