[Xorg] Contrast problems using the radeon driver

Hi

I used the xorg radeon driver for my Radeon 9600XT without problems till
i switched to a 2 screen env (using Xinerama). Now, the primary screen
shows up with a very weak contrast (i.e. the GNOME 2.6 splash screen is
completly while in the background). The second screen works perfectly.

I first though its a hw prob so i switched monitors. Since the contrast
problem didn't switch to (stayed on the new primary screen) i thought
its a problem of my graphic hardware. To test that i startet up WinXP
and it worked perfect there (with a Catalyst installed). The picture was
perfect (except of the content :)). So its finally seems to be a sw
problem... I actually never tried it with the binary radeon driver yet.

Is this known to any one here?

My specs:
Saphire Radeon 9600XT
2x Samsung 710N tft monitor
