> maybe your DVI->VGA adapter is flakey. lucky enough i've got a whole bag of them ... and it ain't that ... it maybe some crappy components on the card, I'll try running single monitor with just the DVI->VGA plugged in and see does that have the issue as well, But it is an ATI branded 8500 card so I'd expect it to be well enough made...
