Xorg 6.8.1 and i855 dual head

Hi, on i read the following:

2.5  Video driver enhancements
[...]
 o i810 driver updates
 o Dualhead support (i830+)
 o i915 support
 o New 3D driver (i830+)

my laptop is equipped with intel 855 gm and i can't get xinerama and
dual head working. And like me, a lot of people with same chipset.
Will this feature supported in the next release or is already present
in cvs?
