Mostly that it's not CVS -- once the repository moves from CVS, you can't 
go back (and you probably can't go to any other SCM either).

You're effectively locked into TLA until someone writes a tool to migrate 
a TLA repository to the next best thing.

This is the best reason not to move to subversion; it doesn't offer enough 
of the things we want and yet still prevents us from moving to something 
newer.

CVS is horrible, but everyone can import from it at least.
