Thanks for your reply, the discussion is very fertile.
I need more help though.
1. What parameter in the Kernel should I set (and where is it in the
menuconfig)?
2. Where do I get the Mach64 drivers?
3. How to install the drivers (until now I tried to copy the files
*_drv.o to /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers and *_dri.so to
same/dri. Is that OK?)?
4. How can I check if I installed them correctly?
5. What definitions do I have to do in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (As I
noticed the most important one is "Driver" in the "Device"
section. Are there other important ones)?
