need help in getting started (Xserver/xlibs->Xglx)

Hi all,

I just read about Xglx in the archives and subscribed a 
few seconds before; however, I'd like to get this running, too but 
failed obviousely very early. I also didn't find *ANY* docs on how 
to get this built from scratch :(

trapni at battousai ~/src/freedesktop.org/xlibs $ ./xlibs/build-em --prefix=/opt/Xserver
found automake 1.7
found autoconf 2.5 or better
found libtool 1.5
cat: Packages: No such file or directory
Checking out xtrans with forced tag XTRANS-0_1-RELEASE
cvs server: cannot find module `xtrans' - ignored
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules

Can anyone help me here getting started?
