I'll snoop around and see what I can find. I assume theres a manpage
for xset on it. That should get me started.

I'll do a rerun of yum update first thing.
Its got a 40GB main drive & and old 4Gb for swap, with not much more
than a full FC2 install, and 328MB of ram, the max that old micron
millineum board can handle. A df says theres many gigabytes of spare
room.

Ahh, but it can, *if* you're a dummy like me and you've selected the
wrong framebuffer. x will run, but an exit back to a VT will either
crash doing it, or in the attempt to do the ctl+alt+F7 to go back to
x when you're done with the console, I fought that for a long time on
this box about 3 years back before someone asked if I had the right
fb selected in my .config. Apparently I didn't.
