XGI and open source drivers.

(sorry. I re-sent this email because I didn't realise that the previous
one would reference to another thread.)


I am very curious about this page:

XGI is claiming that they released the source code for their cards. If
they are not being misleading in their statements I think I found the
video card I am going to buy next. 

I would love to replace my Nvidia card with something that actually used
free drivers...

But I am not very trustworthy of any company until I hear more about it.
So does anybody have any news on this?

They said in the page to search the bug reports page for more
information so I looked for 'XGI' and I came up with this:
