I've fixed the issue with
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3118 ("Xprint server is
broken due 05/04/20 05:49:46 commit") via backing-out Daniel's patch. I
have a different patch in my queue which handles the conditionalisation
of the headers correctly so please please don't play around with that
stuff without consulting me first...
