savage: unresolved symbols

I installed (rpm -i --force --replacefiles) xorg-X11-lib,
xorg-X11-xfs and xorg-X11 from FC3. Then X didn't start and
the log said that the default font "fixed" is not found. So I
reinstalled xorg-X11-xfs from FC2. And it works !!!!!
I still have no dri because video memory is too low for the
resolution and I should set Option "DisableTile" "false" it
says in the log. But I think with some little work I will get
this, too.

To answer your questions nevertheless: FC2 was installed from
4 ISO before the Sysadmin closed the CDROM drive in the BIOS
and X worked slow due to framebuffer or VESA driver.
