What happened to the "XDM-AUTHORIZATION-2" authentification scheme ?

So? XDMCP can work in an IPv6-only environment - you just can't use
the XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 scheme, but would need MIT-MAGIC-COOKIES or
another mechanism instead.
In any case, if anyone who needs it wants to put in the work, there's
nothing stopping them, but so far, no has needed it enough to do so.
I'd love to see it done, but I've already got far too much on my to-do
list already to get to it anytime soon.
(In Sun's case, we've never supported XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1, so we
already work just as well in IPv6 as we do in IPv4 for XDMCP.
I don't know about any other vendors.)
