That would be ideal; it would also imply that the current PCI support
code in the X server tree be refactored into a semi-arch independent PCI
layer (as it is now) which either implements PCI support for platforms
that don't do it, or wraps platform libraries as in the case of
libpci.a. Unfortunately, that's a good sized chunk of work given the
current state of the X server PCI code...
