Then this might be the time to just leave the old driver as is now and
only do very trivial bugfixes, and create a radeon_new driver with a big
fat warning that "this is EXPERIMENTAL and will break compatibility
every second day, but if you'd like to have the latest and coolest
features then you're encouraged to help by testing it".
