Xgl in X.org tree

do you see any errors on loading Xgl (like can't find libraries
etc...?) you are using xgl-0-0-1 branch?

I had a problem with composite so I hacked it on in the tree...

 ./configure --enable-maintainer-mode --enable-xgl --disable-xorg
--disable-xprint --enable-glx --enable-dri --prefix=/foo/X
--with-mesa-source=/foo/dri/mesa_stable/Mesa/ --disable-dmx
--disable-xvfb --disable-xnest --enable-xglx

is my line, you may need to disable Xorg actually...
